Logging in
- Log in to your website by clicking “LOG IN” at the bottom of any page
- Enter your user name and password and click “Log In”
- Once you’re logged in, you are in the website’s “Dashboard”
Edit a page or post
- When logged in, in the top left corner, hover over your website’s name and select “Visit Site”
- You are now back in regular website view, with the difference that you are logged in — you can tell by the dark admin menu bar at the top of the window
- Navigate to any page or post that you want to edit
- When you are on the page you want to edit, click “Edit Page” (or “Edit Post” if it’s a post) in the admin menu bar at the top of the page
- Your page will now open in “Edit” view. This is where you do your text edits
- When done editing, click “Update” and your updates will be posted to the live website
Add new page
- In the admin menu bar at the top of the page, hover over “+ New” and select Page
- In the Edit window, add a headline and content to your page
- Is this page a sub page of another page? If so, go under “Page Attributes” (right column) and select the Parent that this page is to be organized under
- When done, click “Publish”

Add new post
- In the admin menu bar at the top of the page, hover over “+ New” and select Post
- In the Edit window, add a headline and content to your post
- Each post has to belong to a Category. Under “Categories” in the right column, select the category your post is to be sorted into
- When done, click “Publish”

Navigation Menu
Is your new page supposed to be in your website’s navigation bar at the top or any other navigation bar that your site might have?
- Go to “Appearance —> Menus” and add your new page to the appropriate menu
- Posts will appear automatically at the top of the category they were assigned to
