Yom Kippur

9am - Yom Kippur Mussar Yoga - Connecting Middot (Jewish Values) to our Yoga Practice at this Season (This will be a 60 minute practice in our sacred sanctuary spaces or on the grounds of our Temple properties depending on the weather)

11am - Yom Kippur Morning Service - Join our congregational community to mark Yom Kippur as we hear the special liturgy of this day, a Torah reading, and learning.

1pm - Yom Kippur Healing Service - Join to feel the presence of community for a moment of healing on this holiest of days.

1:30pm - Yom Kippur Yizkor Service (Memorial) - As is our custom, we will make the memories of our loved ones forever a blessing by remembering them on this Yom Kippur Day.

3pm - Yom Kippur Afternoon Jonah Learning with Rabbi Simcha Bob - This program will once again be available virtually as well as in person. We are thrilled to connect again with our TOR/Tahoe Virtual community as we welcome back Rabbi Steve Bob, author of Jonah and the Meaning of our Lives to again deepen our understanding of The Book of Jonah. 5:30pm - Yom Kippur Neilah/Concluding Service, Havdalah, and Break Fast @ Sand Harbor. Our entire Tahoe Jewish Community of NTHC & TBY will join at Sand Harbor State Park for a conclusion to the Holy Days on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Shuttles will be provided with limited capacity. Watch your eblasts for the sign up. The shuttles will depart each congregation at 430p and return by 745p or earlier. Our break fast will be catered with opportunities for you to share your favorite foods too. Watch for more details.
